Agility Training

Whether you are a beginner or just interested in some fun and a different way to exercise for your dog, or someone who has decided to take their training to the next the next level, we will have a course for you.

We run five different agility courses each week in our indoor, heated training centre and in our purpose built outdoor agility ring. If you have a pre-sports puppy or an adult dog, you will find a course to suit your dog's needs.

Our class sizes are always small to ensure each dog and handler have focus from our trainers and can progress through the levels from groundwork training, obstacle performance right through to advanced sequencing. At Dog Training Ireland we work with all breeds and mixes, and our agility classes are no different.

We also offer ring rental and equipment hire for our clients who want additional time to practice and train with their dogs; we also offer private one to one sessions.

Agility Dog Club

Dogs that have completed our Foundation Agility Training & Agility classes will then be invited to participate in Dog Training Ireland's Advanced Agility Dog Club. Those who are invited to participate in the dog club will need to have an understanding of all pieces of equipment & the Foundation Exercises and work through their sequences and short courses. We will assist you in every way possible to ensure your dog progresses well.

Agility Dog Club runs in our outdoor agility ring and suitable clothes and footwear should be worn. You can attend and practice regularly without having to book onto a course. Payment is per class before the class starts and a very small fee is charged and no pre booking is necessary giving you the freedom to attend when you can. You will also be invited to our active yahoo group where we can share information, training tips and videos and organise regular group walks and social events. Members of our Agility club are invited to participate and demonstrate at various events such as the Pet Expo and Fun Dog Shows if they wish.

All our trainers are qualified in a variety of training qualifications and certification that include CCPDT, APDT Ireland, APDT UK, CAP, BSc (HONS) Applied Animal Behaviour, Dip CABT, PgDip Companion Animal Behaviour. 5000 square foot building with tiled rubber flooring Small class sizes Full Course notes given Reward and motivational methods only - No harsh methods Children are encouraged to participate in the class (accompanied by one or both guardians) Full course content available before you book (click on "Class Info" beside the relevent class) Set course rather than random attendance training classes We are fully insured.
