Clicker Training is a form of reward based training. The clicker is used to mark the precise behaviour that you wish to train. Using a clicker increases the speed at which your dog learns. The course is structured in such a way that it will prepare those people who wish to achieve the CAP1 clicker training certification from www.learningaboutdogs.com. The certification is endorsed by Karen Pryor the inventor of clicker training. No previous training experience is required. CAP1 certification assessment can be recorded on video by request and sent for evaluation to Learning About Dogs.
All our trainers are qualified in a variety of training qualifications and certification that include CCPDT, APDT Ireland, APDT UK, CAP, BSc (HONS) Applied Animal Behaviour, Dip CABT, PgDip Companion Animal Behaviour.
